Terms of service

TOOEZI PTY LTD - CUSTOMER TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply between TooEzi Pty Ltd (ABN: 52 643 455 921) (“TooEzi”, “we”, “us”) and you (“you”, “your”) in relation to the service(s) booked via the TooEzi platform, including through our website at www.tooezi.com. These Terms apply to all services unless otherwise specified in writing.


1. DEFINITIONS

  • Goods: Any items or materials relevant to the services, whether supplied by you or a third party.

  • Premises: The location you nominate for the services to be performed.

  • Authorised Service Company (ASC): Any installer, technician, or subcontractor engaged by TooEzi to deliver the services.

  • Services: Any work (including but not limited to installation, maintenance, repair, or assessment) as described at the time of booking.


2. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

Nothing in these Terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to remedies for services not performed with due care and skill, or for services not fit for their intended purpose.


3. SERVICE SCOPE

Your booking includes only the services described in your confirmation or quote. If additional work is required, we may need to adjust the quote. You must not negotiate or pay the ASC directly. All payments must be made via TooEzi.


4. ACCESS AND SITE REQUIREMENTS

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring clear, safe access to the site

  • Confirming utilities (power, water, gas) are functional and compliant

  • Ensuring any pets are secured

  • Having a person aged 18+ present to approve and sign off on work

If the site is not fit for safe access or compliant for the work to proceed, the job may be cancelled, and a call-out fee may apply.


5. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Short-notice cancellations may incur a call-out fee. Changes to scope may delay your service or require requoting.


6. WARRANTIES

We offer a limited warranty on services performed by our ASCs:

  • 12 months for most standard installations

  • 5 years for gas appliance or air conditioning installations

  • 6 months for repairs

This warranty covers workmanship and does not cover misuse, tampering, or external damage.


7. PAYMENT TERMS

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Payment is due before service commences

  • Larger or multi-stage jobs may be subject to milestone payments

  • Any additional approved work will be invoiced separately


8. USE OF SUBCONTRACTORS

You acknowledge that TooEzi may assign your job to a qualified subcontractor or independent tradesperson. All ASCs are required to meet licensing, insurance, and conduct standards set by TooEzi.


9. PRIVACY

By booking a service, you agree to the use and disclosure of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including sharing with our contractors for service delivery and quality assurance.


10. SAFETY & INCIDENTS

All worksites must comply with safety regulations. If an ASC deems a site unsafe, the job will not proceed. Any incidents (injuries, damage, etc.) must be reported to TooEzi immediately and an Incident Report may be required.


11. LIMITATIONS

TooEzi is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing issues at your premises

  • Incompatibility with supplied goods or infrastructure

  • Delays caused by third parties, freight, or access limitations

  • Manufacturer warranty voids due to unauthorised modification
